    You need some food for fasting or you don’t like meat at all… In that case, textured soy protein pie is right choice for you and the fast and easy preparation will motivate you additionally to try to make it.

    Ingredients for 6 persons

    500 gphyllo dough (thin sheets)

    Filling

    300 gred soy granulates (textured soy protein)
    500 g leeks
    3 teaspoons of spicey salt
    300 mlwater
    by wishpepper
    40 mloil
    1 teaspoonsoregano
    200 gketchup

    Mixture of water and oil

    30 mloil
    30 mlwater
    Turn on oven to 220°C before you start preparing the pie.

    Preparation



    Clean leeks and slice them into thin rings.



    Heat oil in a middle size saucepan y fry leek until softens.



    Put the soy granulates in a bigger bowl and pour them over with approximately 300 ml of hot water.



    You don’t have to pour too much water. Try to estimate how much water is needed for granulates to become soft.

    Add fried leek in bowl with soy granulates.



    Stir the mixture and add ketchup.



    Add spicy salt, oregano and pepper and mix well.



    Baking



    Oil a mold. Put two sheets of phyllo dough, sprinkle them with mixture of water and oil and range a part of filling evenly (how big this part will be depends from the number of sheets that you have).



    Put one sheets over the filling, sprinkle it with mixture of water and oil, put another sheet and sprinkle it, too, and put a part of filling.

    Repeat this process until all the ingredients are used. You must sprinkle the last sheet with mentioned mixture.

    Bake the pie in oven preheated to 220°C for around 35-40 minutes.



    Put the filling on every other sheet.

    Serving



    Serve the pie warm.

    Variation



    This recipe is basic recipe for this pie and you can change it adding various ingredients.

    Our suggestion: you can add grated cheese, fried bacon o ham…
