Decorating with vinegar

5
Dip the tip of a toothpick in vinegar and draw patterns on the shell. Wipe off excess vinegar with a cloth, so it doesn't dissolve the dye where you don't want it to.

Decorating with plants
-
6
Choose flowers and leaves with interesting shapes, press them face down against the shell of a boiled egg and wrap the egg tightly in a nylon stocking. Tie the stocking with thread so it doesn't open during dyeing.

7
Dye the eggs following the instructions on the dye.

When the eggs are dyed, take them out of the dye and remove the stocking and the plant.

Tip: Remove the plant quickly and completely: if it dries onto the egg, you will not be able to get it off.
Decorating with paper
-
9
Fold a small piece of paper until you end up with a triangle.
-
10
Cut small shapes out along the edges of the triangle.
-
11
Unfold the paper and you will see an interesting pattern.
-
12
Dip the paper shape in plain water, so it sticks to the shell more easily, press it against a boiled egg and wrap it in a nylon stocking.

Tip: Rub the dyed eggs with a cloth dipped in oil to give them a high shine. If you decorate the eggs with a sticker, put it on before you oil the egg.
